ok say i have downloaded movies pictures and music all "illegialy" from a p2p place can the riaa still find all this out if all i share is the pictures and not the music or movies???

unless you downloaded from them, then i would say no.they look at your shared files folder and if nothing illegal is being shared then no worries.

depends on what software\protocol you used to download. if it were bittorrent then you would have already been sharing them when you were downloading so they would have logged that already.

as for kazaa\limewire\bearshare its been awhile since ive used these but im pretty sure they can log whenever something is downloaded. anything thats new (Star Wars was a good example) is tracked by RIAA and everyones IP address is logged then anyone they want to scare usually recieve an email.

but to answer your question the RIAA wont care about you sharing pictures at all but other agencies might depending on the content of the pics. theres a software called Peer Guardian that supposedly blocks RIAA and associates IP addresses so you should maybe look into that.

There are two matter of fact , peerguardian2 and protowall, these apps block RIAA and other bad corps from connecting to you, all though nuhting is 100% its better than nothing, ive used peerguardian for years and have never had any trouble out of app. (or legal trouble i may add :p)
