I was using normal bittorrent, no bitlord, bittornado or azuras (or however you spell that) Just basic bittorrent that I installed on my computer ages ago. It was slow but atleast it worked.

now i had to go and install an upgrade of it from the site, i tried to work it but found it really complicating so i uninstalled it and now i cant get the bittorrent i had before back :(

so now the only thing that works is Bittornado and it looks just like the normal bittorrent i used before except for the light at the top and the options below.

It's VERY slow, even slower than the other one now.

The upload rate is like 8 kb/s and the download rate is 1 kb/s.

here is a screen cap of the settings, i dont know what to put for them >>

You'll notice the download rate is up to 3 here, but it does that then in about five seconds goes back to 1 or 0.

My questions are:

What do i put for the settings (the ones ive circled)? and what does the info in the bit i've circled above mean?

how to i disable a xp firewall? and is there any other way of making it faster? (ive got broadband by the way)

ive also tried open ports 6881-6889 but nothing has changed,
