I have tried a number of ways to back up my Kings Ransom, and it starts to have a problems on VTS_01_04, it ran for about 3 hours.
I tried DVD Decrypter and DVD Fab. I have never used Any DVD, I tried and just cannot figure it out.????

Welcome to the forum. If DVDDecrypter sat there for 3 hours and all it got was errors codes then you have a bad press ( It Happens ) and needs to be returned for exchange.
Kings Ransom is an easy burn.... DVDD and DVDFab should have no prob with it! Definatly sounds like a bad disk as Car.Mike says! try to clean it or send back and get new one!
You don't really DO anything with AnyDVD. You let it run in the background. If there is an icon of a red fox in the tray at the bottom right of your screen, then it is doing it's job. If it's grey, double click on it, and click on settings. Under the "program" tab, make sure the boxes "Enable AnyDVD" and "Autostart", are checked. They should be default settings.
I did this movie with Shrink w/Nero burning it, and AnyDVD running in the background. No problems at all.
