Everytime I start Azureus (2.3.0.4), it gives me the errors "UPnP: Mapping 'Incoming Peer Data Port (TCP/6881)' failed" and "UPnP: Mapping 'UDP tracker client port (UDP/6881)' failed."

I have Comcast internet and when I first got it, I had the cable modem connected directly to my computer with ethernet and Azureus did not complain at all. Recently I wanted to add another device to my network so I dug out my Linksys wireless router, which I had used at a previous apartment with roommates. My computer is connected to the router wirelessly with a fixed IP of 192.168.1.20, which I already had setup from before. TCP and UDP ports 6881-6999 are forwarded to my IP. Previously this worked great and Azureus gave me no errors. Now it does for some reason! Torrents *seem* to work alright, but it's annoying to have these error messages popup every time I open it (I don't see any way to disable them).

I'm not sure what the problem is, I can only think there must be a router setting I changed or something (should I try NOT forwarding those ports maybe?).

im having the same problem and i wish someone could help us out..i have comcast cable at my place and my azerus is moving slow, so i assume the port 26881 is closed, but how do i open up ports since i have cable modem? with dsl i can jus go and configure it with ease but what are the steps to open the ports with cable? I get a message saying "UPnP : :Lost connection to service. 'WANIPConnection' UPnP device....'; what does all that mean? how can i fix this problem?

Does no one know why I'd be getting a UPnP error? Is UPnP new to recent releases of Azureus? I *did* find the option in it to disable UPnP, or at least turn off the error messages (I didn't realize it was under Plugins). My router is a Linksys BEFW11S4v2 and I believe supports this feature (I think some other apps like eDonkey or something also use it? And I've had no problems with other apps).
