I do not know if this in the correct section of the forum if its not I am sorry please direct me to the right section. I am trying to put together a custom dvd with a bunch of scenes from diff. movies. For example I want to take the frank the tank part out of old school and put it on my hard drive to burn to one dvd with all my fav. scenes. How would I go about doing this? Do I have to put the whole dvd on my hard drive or can I just cut what part of the movie I want on my hard drive? Either way I dont know how to cut scenes I would appriciate it if someone could help me out. What program should I use to convert my dvd to files for my hard drive and what program should I use to cut parts from the movie and finally what program should I use to burn with the best quality with the most amount of movie time with menues...ect?

have a look at DVD Shrink,in reauthor mode(free soft),you can stop/start frames where you like,thats one way of doing it

If you want Menu"s you will have to use a DVD Authoring Program.....
