as the title states, im looking for a very easy to use program that will allow me to take my videos on my comp (mpeg, avi, etc) and do somethign simple as dragging and dropping into a program that will convert and burn (or create an .iso) so i can watch the vids on a standard dvd player.

any help? thanks!

DO NOT use nerovision, use the freeware version of VSO DivXtoDVD, which is much faster and with much less hassle.

hi

avi to dvd iso i use either avi2dvd or film machine both apps free! and dam good!

for mpeg i use mainconcept to get mpeg2 and then TMPGEnc dvd author to make vobs and then make iso with same app...could also drop mpeg/avi to DivXtoDVD, its pretty good but not as good as first 4 apps mentioned...

please note time is a factor on the apps i use!

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Mainconcept is the program I use for encoding (fast and good) and then DVDLab Pro for authoring

I logged in on March 1st 2005, and it's incredible to believe that in so short time I've learnt all that I know about DVDs from this forum...

Easiest program I found is dvdsanta 4.0 although I no longer use it.
AVI(DivX) to DVD, I gave Roxio Media Center 7.5 a trial and I was very impressed. Engine is blazin' fast converting files :)

Asus K8N nVidia nForce3 Pro 250 GB, Athlon 64 3200+, Hitachi 80 gig SATA 150, Corsair XMS 1 gig PC4000, ATI Radeon Saphire 9600 Pro (256 DDR), Windows XP Pro (64 Bit),Lite-ON SOHD 167T,, Plextor PX-712SA,BenQ 1640.
