Would that DVD media work with my memorex? Or would this? Taiyo Yuden 4X DVD-R blank media 200 pack?

It depends on where you are getting those tys from. There are many fake tys floating around out there using the ty-g01 and ty-g02 codes. It's hard to tell if they are genuine until you get them and look at the dye side of the disc for a code.

The genuine tys are some of the finest media out there.The 4x speed is getting harder to find.

Who are you buying them from?

There's quite a few web sites to stay away from that are known to sell fake ty media.

perhaps you got a "bad batch" of those TYG01s, as i assure you IF you bought them @ supermediastore, they are 100% AUTHENTIC~ :)

is ur firmware up to date on your memorex burner?

also, what media have you tried in the past that HAS worked for your particular burner?

if you didn't get a "bad batch" of the TYs, there could be other factors that are preventing you from burning properly...maybe your burner is on it's "last leg?" that is a possibility, but, we should rule that out before you drop some more $$ on a new burner...

need a bit more info helloyoda and we can assist you further...

im pretty sure they WILL~ :) sorry, i did not realize that this was an "intended" purchase, but, you should be good with those~ :) i have thousands of them and they work well in all of my burners (i have 4 on desktop, and 2 on laptop), no fuss from any of my 6 burners when it comes to genuine Taiyo Yuden media~ :) good luck

Taiyo Yuden media is rock solid across the board, whether it's dvd media or cd media, they both are VERY high quality. :)
