Good Day,

I currently have 4 DVDs that I Decrypted with File mode in my PC. Each DVD has it's folder. I calculated the size & it would fir into 1 DVD. How would I proceed ?
I have the following Programs:

CloneDVD2
Shrink
Decrypter
DVD-Rebuilder Pro
Unlead DVD Pro Factory 2 SE
PVR-250 card

Regards,
Dan

The easiest method would be to use DVD Shrink and I just happen to have a guide you can follow to acomplish this task http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/Making%20a%20episode%20DVD%20with...

Good luck :-)

Not with that method if you are looking to create a menu try using NeroVision Express. I just happen to have a guide for that process as well http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/NVE%20Basics.pdf

You can download a 30 day trial of Nero at www.nero.com

Here is another guide I made, showing you how to do just that, add 2 or more movies to 1 DVD: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47252

If you really want to get in to it. here is a guide for creating a menu to a "re-authored" DVD: http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/guides/VobBlanker/adding_menus/index.htm

4 Dvds in 1? Humm.... it's possible, but I don't think you'll like the quality in result. I would never put 4 movies in 1 dvd-R/+R or even in a +R DL blank. However, the choice is yours to proceed, so do whatever that floats in your boat.

On the other hand, if I were to put 4 - 6 movies as in AVI or DivX files into 1 single DVD+R disc, then YES..... certainly I would.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Id like to try something like this maybe with the Terminator trilogy???

I bought a dvd before with both kill bills on one disc-quality seemed fine to me.What would it be like with 3/4 films on a disc??

The only way I know of to Put 4 Movies on to One DVD-R with acceptable Quality is to use the SIF/CIF DVD Standard which will give you Quality that is Better than VCD but not quite as Good as SVCD but definately Watchable as I have done it many Times.....

What you have to do is Encode your Movies to Mpeg-2 at 352+240 with a Bitrate of about 1500kbs (For 6 hours on a DVD) and after encodeing each Movie to Mpeg-2 at 352+240(NTSC) You Load each Movie file into a DVD authoring program Like "DVDLab Pro" and add a Main Menu were you can select which Movie you want to watch and add your Chapters and Button Links ect and Burn to DVD.....

I found this Method works especially well with Animation but works well with any Video Type as Long as a Good Quality Mpeg encoder is used and it is encoded Properly.....

Cheers

Hello Guys,
The Four Movies I'm talking about are very small & they fit into 1 DVD without compressing. I just realized I put the .ISO in my PC. Can I do anything with that ?

I have backed up my collection of Band of Brothers. reduced the 5 disks down to 3. I placed three 1 hour episodes on one single layer dvd. I did this with DVD2One. I was ver pleased with the quality. Except for a couple of grainy shots they were hard to distinquish from the originals. I personally believe that a couple of the episodes were a little grainy (like saving private ryan). I usually don't use that prog. But I like the joining feature on it. One prog. that I am really enjoying is Recode 2. Arnie bear said give it a try...I did and was very pleased with it as well. Thanks arniebear!

Hi there,
I am planning on reauthouring the 4live aid discs(from the official release) down to one disc.however i still want to keep the same menu with the same choices along the bottom of the screen (Play all, play wembley, play philadelphia, artist selection, extras etc..)

I understand there will be a big drop in quality.

How would i go about undertaking this project.

Any help you can offer is appreciated.
Thanks

sugarray - Do a "Full Disc" copy in DVD Shrink 3.2 . After clicking the "Backup!" button, make sure you do a "Deep Analysis" and use the AEC function (you want to use the "Sharp (default" setting or the "Smooth" setting. (Using the "Smooth" setting will take a LONG time!! but is worth it!)

Both the Deep Analysis and AEC functions are located on the "Quality Settings" tab after you click the "Backup!" button.
