Aight after installing a new mobo...First of all I had to reformat which totally ruined my day. And couple more things.
1)My monitor turns on like 3 seconds later then it used to with the old mobo...So I don't really see the bios screen(I can get into it tho by pressing DEL)
2)And my power+hdd led+main led power connector is one thing...while the motherboard has them all seperately. So no leds work for me now...just the power button.

Do you guys know what is wrong with the monitor at least...and any idea how to get all my LED's working? Maybe I could mod the connector somehow???

i dont understand how your power "psu" has to do anything with ur hdd led, and ur main led power connector, because the hdd led and ur main led power connector should be comming from ur tower, because on my case they're all comming form the tower.

bojan087, you usually have 2 led's, 1 green for power & red for the hd. on buttons & this is for clone cases not name brand, you usually have 2 buttons, a reset & a power tho on my desktop case, i have a mode button & maybe a sleep led.

it is a key as it correponds with the missing pin so you can't put it in reverse. you haven't finished answering the rest of my questions.

Connector Type: Block
Total # of Pin Holes:10(one covered with plastic)
Rows:2
Columns:5
Used:Only 5

Maybe I could take it apart and connect the holes on individual pins?

does the case have a reset button? on the motherboard, is the power led 2 pins or 3? do you have a multimeter or can borrow 1. do you have an electronic supply store nearby? check with a local computer store to see if they have a scrapped case that still has the front panel connectors even if from an old AT machine?

No reset button...just power. Power led is 2 pins. No clue what a multimeter is. Got ACE Hardware nearby. I got 2 old cases. One AMD K-6 case (not atx i guess) and one old crazy as* IBM proccesor case(didnt know IBM made personal computer cpu's) I also have an HDD LED which also uses 2 pins.

seen what connectors are in each but most likely will be using the amd case. don't cut any wires as you are just going to replace the block connector with either individual, 2 or 3 pin connectors.
