System_X...he was posting a guide on how to get the umdemulator to work and what games he personally has tried...this is perfectly fine...we all here in this forum have been helping each other....and as long as he owns these games then he is perfectly legal....so please try to be a lil' nicer instead of jumping on someone...thanks man...holla ;)
ooh and by the way...look a lil' farther in that thread and you will see this:

@elsuave..thanks man, but there are a lot of helpful people here...we're all here to help...
@elmaster...don't worry you didn't do anything that would ban you(as long as you own those games ;) )...but you might want to edit out the sites you listed anyways, just to be on the safe side...ooh and by the way you are running two loaders for one game...when it goes back to the main menu, just pop in a umd...and wait for it to register and it should be playing the iso(the one you selected in umdemulator)..video in the umd spot...press X on that video and start the iso...you shouldn't have to run two programs...umdemulator(you have to have a umd in the drive) hookboot(you don't have to have a umd in the drive)...good luck
@both..you know if elsuave, just had an l instead of the u..you two would be elslave and elmaster...lol..j/k (sorry didn't mean to get off topic)

ok i got a ripkit its twisted metal it suppose to be 170MB or a lil over but when i extract the rip kit it only gives me these files 0.at3 0.pdf and the Rip.bat arent i missing somthing if it suppose to be 170 MB iam confused

i know how to convert it to an iso file and that wholes process byut how do u even get the psp_game folder and umd_data.bin file to begin with noone answers that questions can someone plz tell me i am lost

evnflow: yes, i surely know that, i could insert an umd and not have to use two emulators.. but my brother took the umds, im left without any.. and devhook doesnt start the games if i try to turn them on without any umd, neither does umd emulator, so the way i play them (umd emulator, then devhook) makes them work without inserting any umd.. :)

Hello I have two 400 mb games and one 512mb memory stick. Is there any way of placing both games on my memory stick and being able to play both of them instead of changing every time I want to play a new game?
And also I currently use ”Torrent . All my downloads only go about 20kb/s maximum. This is way too slow for me because It took me 7 days to download a 4gb game. Is there another torrent client which is extrememly fast???

thanks for the help previously. but i still got kinda stuck on some things so i eventually gave into buying a real NBA live 06 UMD.
but the thing now is, my PSP is the japanese v1.5 and for me to play the NBA live 06 that i bought (from UK), i need to upgrade it to v1.52
from what i've read so far, it seems everyone is sticking to v1.5 (but correct me if im wrong, as im still pretty much a newbie)
so is it advisable for me not to upgrade v1.52 and just forget about the UMD and sell it out? because im just worried that if i upgrade to v1.52 from the UMD, i wont be able to play the games that i upload from devhook or fastloader?

There is a nifty tool out there that I'm sure some kind soul can direct you to, as I don't have the info directly in from of me....
Basically, it's a tool that allows you to fool the PSP into thinking it's whatever version you want, from 1.0 to 2.0, whithout actually changing from 1.5. Works great, as my PSP thinks it's a 2.0, when it's really a 1.5 : )
Can someone recall the name of the tool?

@Zard...the tool that oryp is talking about is is either Wab's Version changer or SXT Version changer...you can google this tools or grab them from the link in my sig...you install like normal homebrew...if you need any help with it, just ask...holla ;)

is am downloading a bit torrent for a so Called GTA LCS Fix Which i seriously believe is a fake has any 1 heard of a way to load gta on 1.5 if so please post it/ i am also having problems with my pursuit force i ripped it but when it says press x it just shuts off

dude it's a fake...there is not a loader for gta...as of right now...the future is looking pretty bleek for the release of one...sorry..holla ;)

if wab version changer fools you psp into thinking it is 2.0 then why wont GTA work? Ps. if you have got persuit force, you can use umd emulator to load from umd then it will work.

(let's not get off topic)...the wab version changer only masks the initial firmware into believing it's 2.0(will fool the umd into thinking it's a different firmware)...not actually providing the correct masking system to help load the game(won't help the ISO to load)...

thanks for the info on the wab's version changer. but im not sure how to quite put it on my PSP.
i downloaded the file wab-launcher2.5f.rar and extracted two files, 'V1.5' and 'V1.0'
i thought you just put the two files inside the GAME file on the memory card. but it seems i was wrong as i all get is corrupted files on my PSP. so im just not sure how i can correctly put the version changer onto my PSP.
