now that thats over with. if i ripped the tony hawk iso off of the umd would it have the full and music or would i have to do something else.

no you wont have to do anything at all, that is a full umd dump, from here on out anything that i smissing from the iso you will have to take out.
also if i am correct yo uwill need umd gen to rebuild the iso after dumpin

So after i rip t and its like 12 files rebuild the whole thing in umdgena nd then just copy that to the mem stick.

Hmmm I backed up Daxter but I only have 1GB card. :( And the file is around 1.3gb.
Is there anyway to shrink it to fit?

Open mylatestdump or watever you called the backup
with WinRar
after you open it youll have 1 folder PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin
Now get UMDripper
and UMDgen youll find it here
http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/11
Open UMDripper and point it to the PSP_GAME folder
now youll be able to rip what you want out of the backup, mainly rip the dummy file.
After youve done ripping enuff to fit on a 1gb.
Open UMDgen and drag n drop the new PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin to the right hand side of UMDGen
Go to file EXPORT ISO.

Oh my, I appreciate the posting--thanks!! Way too techy for me I think. I will take another stab at this tomorrow. I guess being a newbie and stuff and having played around a lot today....officially information overload. :)

Umdemulator and fastloader are made by the same group of coders and is essentially the same program with Umdemulator being the more updated one and having more options

hey~ any of u guys know how to actually make the modifying mode on Midnight club actually work? it keeps hangin n turnin itself off when i try to to do any mods on the cars~ gettin annoyed
