Just what are you trying to back up? Decrypter will do image files, but probably not data. You could try Nero in a straight copy mode and see if that works.

Yes Nero works with dual layer media. Maybe if you stated what you are trying to back up we could be more helpful.

Its a program designed for auto mechanics, its called mitchell on demand,it has three dvd dual layer discs and three cd's used during the installation.Ill use (clonecd) for the cd's.
I guess it would be considered,data files,software,etc.
The Nero link you gave said the trial had expired. The 30 days went quick!
Im in real pickle here,i have to have these copied before morning!
Its 7;30 pm here now!
Any help would be greatfully appreciated!

I suppose you could try CloneCD it is supposed to do DVD's to, I have not tried it. I do use CloneDVD it has a 21 day trial if you have not used it, might work. You could also try setting the date back on your computer and see if you can fool Nero into thinking you have more time than you do, it sometimes works.

I have clone dvd and it will not work!
However clone cd seems to read and save it just fine,my worry here is it does it in just a few seconds????My experience with clone cd is when the disc is full it takes several minutes!
So i dont think its working even though it thinks it is.
Any other thoughts?

Had to get this one myself, couldnt have done it w/out the help though.
I found and older version of Nero,it was able to read it but not burn it...said it wouldnt fit onto the disc?Guess it wasnt set for dual layer, then i put the dual layer media in and started dvddecryptor and its looking like one hour later i have my first copy!
Still keeping my fingers crossed...still lacks about 20 more minutes burning.
thanks as always
