I bought DVD+R DLs and they copy just fine when using dvd decrypter, dvd 2 one, and dvd wizard pro. I get not one error but they still won't play in any dvd players, including my computer. The dvds are 2.4 max and that is the speed I copied them at. If anything i am doing is an obvious problem I would greatly appretiate help
Thenks in advance Jag.

if the disk skips, freezes or has pixelations.... then it's bad media! What manufacture of disk is it? Use DVDInfo Pro or DVD Identifier to find out the manufacturer's ID. But, if your disk isn't recognized by any of your DVD players, including your computer it could be that it wasn't finalized!

Verbatim DL should be fine ...... did you do a scan on the disk to see if there were errors? you can do the scan using Nero or DVDInfo Pro and I know there are other programs that do that, too! see if there are errors ....... what about your other disks? if you are using DLs ..... you then made a 1:1 copy, right? does your programs account for DL disks? I haven't used DVD2One or DVD Wizard Pro. If you are making a 1:1 copy why use DVD2One? DLs should have enough room to make an exact copy! maybe that's your problem..... you compressed the DVD to fit to a DVD5(single layer, 4.7G disk). When I recorded on DLs I didn't have to compress! Just used DVDDecrypter and CopyToDVD and that was that! NO COMPRESSION! Perfect copy and played on all DVD players. Also did you book type your drive to DVD-ROM? that will make all your disks more acceptable to other DVD players!

@Jaguar48,

For DVD9 (DVD+R DL media), I highly recommend the Verbatim 2.4 DVD+R DL "Made In Singapore" media. To back up DVD+R DL using DVD Decrypter, do the following steps below.

01) Open up DVD Decrypter
02) MODE, ISO READ R (then choose your "Destination" <-- make it your C: drive or Hard drive
03) on "source" choose where you'd put the original movie i.e. your dvd burner or dvd-rom drive
04) click on "Decrypt", now sit back, relax and wait until it's completed, closed DVD Decrypter and verify that you've the 2 ISO and MDS file on your Hard drive.

Now once it's successfully completed and the ISO & MDS files is inside your Hard drive or C: drive

01) Open up DVD Decrypter again
02) put high quality media inside your dvd burner
03) MODE, ISO, WRITE W
04) on "source" browse to your Hard drive (C: drive) and pick the MDS file
05) on "Destination" <--- choose your dvd burner
06) click on "Write" that's it.... easy as smoking.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Hi there,

One thing I like to do, specialy when I try a new brand of media, or change burning speed, is run them in "VSO Inspector v1.1"...

I run a Sector Scan and a File Scan, to make sure the media I just burned can be read 100% without errors.

If there is errors (Cheap Media, and/or burned too fast) you can expect skips, freeze, pixilation on playback.

My 2 cents...
