DVD Burner for Win98

I have got a machine that is not capable of running XP so I leave it with Win98. Runs great as a back-up to get to the net but now I need to find a CD Rom drive. The one I have is not working. With the prices what they are now I asked myself why not buy a DVD Burner/CD Rom combo. The price is about the same and who knows one day I may upgrade.

Short question, will a DVD burner work with Win98 and maybe some ideas on which ones. I'll do the leg work about finding them.
