well if the disk had nothing but Macrovision in there then DVDDecrypter ALONE would have done the job! And if you can get it on your HD then you can burn the movie!!!!!

Movies27: Would this happen to be a Wicked Pictures production dvd?
I've had problems with a couple of them.

I've got 8 of those wicked dvds-All Original. 5 I got to backup,3 I can't backup.
Satyr: I activated AnyDVD and placed it in my litey dvd-rom drive and that drive went crazy.DVD Decrypter froze up and I had a hell of a time closing it out. I tried it in my Benq 1620 drive, also AnyDVD activated, and it wouldn't even recognize it.
Another of those wicked pictures dvds-Dream Quest: Has a couple of blue spots on the original disc and has trouble half way through dvd player. It's junk.
Jenna's revenge also acts like satyr. Both discs have been run through the skip dr and play ok on stand alones, they just make my DVD-RW drives go spastic. Maybe Too Hot of footage? LOL
They do have encryptions on them because I can't even back them up on my tv dvd recorder.

Not as much any more. The compatability of those backups are pretty poor on stand alone players. It's very picky on media, but likes MCC-003 the best. I have no cable or antenna so I don't use it much. I did make a few copies of backed up movies and regular adult dvds that didn't have any encryption.
It came in very handy for transferring all my home video of vhs and 8mm onto DVD+R.I also did a lot of my vhs backups, the classic movies, and transfered them to dvd.Took a long time, but very easy.

I've heard some info about vobblanker being able to rip through damaged original dvds. I don't know much about that program.I couldn't get it to work on a brand new dvd, LOL
