DVD and AVI Problem

Hi everyone,

Here is where the problem is, I had to do this video project for the university, now this is not the first time i do that, so i used a capture card to record the movie and converting it into AVI, i did the editing and did all the effects and transitions i wanted to do and made the movie with DivX codec, now, when i watch the movie as an avi file i have no problem at all, everything is perfect, so i wanted to convert it as DVD with menus, subtitles, and chatper selection menu, which i did, and when i watched the movie, there was such delay in the sound, or let's just say there was such a huge mismatch between the sound and the picture, which it didn't happen in the source avi file. does anyone one has any suggestion or an idea why it happened ?

once you had it in AVI, what did you use to convert it to mpeg2 and then did you re author it and what with before you burnt it.

Hi there

i actually fixed the problem, it was a codec problem, i just did convert the movie back to AVI DV file and it worked perfectly.
anyway, i used the DVD-LAB pro to convert the file to MPEG2 and to burn it on DVD. thanx for replying anyway, i appreciate it :)
