Do not open ports 6881, etc, open a random port such as 15000.
Secondly, please visit http://www.dslreports.com speed tests and post your max downlaod and upload speeds.

Ok, so open up your XP firewall by going to COntrol Panel->Windows firewall. Go to Exceptions and then Add Port, add port 12242, and call it BitLord. When you open Bitlord, make the listening port 12242.

How many seeds are you connected to, and what is your upload speed?
With most public trackers you will get speeds that jump.
Please visit http://www.dslreports.com and post your max upload speed.

bird,
as i told him, when connected to most public trackers, the speeds will jump, this is eliminated when using private trackers or private torrents. On my 9mb residential line, i get 380-450 KB download, which doesnt jump, on 95 upload.
