edit DVD help needed

If this is the wrong forum, I apologize.

I've got a DVD-R that a client gave me, it is a movie of a corporate presentation. It has been designed to be a DVD movie to play in DVD players. The contents of the disc contain a video folder with VOB files, curiously, there is also an audio folder but it is apparently empty, altho the movie has good audio.

The client wants me to somehow edit the movie into small mp3 chunks and upload to his website.

I've got Roxio 7 and windows movie maker but neither can touch the VOB files. Can anyone recommend any fairly easy to use software that will allow this? thanks

SmartRipper for Ripping Audio tracks from a DVD, might do the job not sure
