Im planing to buy one of those but I dont really know anything about them, all I know is that there are different types like wireless G, B,D whats the difference can anyone tell me which one is the best.

Look there to get an explanation of the differences. Most people go with 802.11g these days. It is the fastest (until 802.11n becomes available). The main reason people didn't use 802.11g previously was because it was more expensive than .11b but the price has really dropped since it was released. I have seen Linksys routers for as low as $50-60 locallywith .11g, problaby cheaper than that mail order.
Main differences:
802.11b is 11mps and uses 2.4ghz spectrum
802.11g is 56mps and uses 2.4ghz spectrum
802.11a is 56mps but uses 5ghz spectrum. Since it uses a different spectrum it is not compatible with the other standards, and also the higher frequency means that it does not penetrate walls or other obstructions as well. The good point is that 5ghz is less likely to interfere with other communications such as cordless phones.
