gordian knot system pack 1.0 installation

I'm very new to this DVD stuff. I have been reading forums and downloading software like crazy. I still don't understand most of what I read but I'm not going to stop. I do need some help and hope someone with patience can offer it. I have installed Gordian Knot Rippack .027 and then tried to install Gordian Knot System pack 1.0. It does fine but when I get to VOBSUB installation and it ask for dir to put AviUtil I have no clue what to do. I have tried many dir but each time I get error saying it can't be installed there. Where do I put it and the others that come up after it? Please excuse my ignorance I am trying.

P.S. Can you imagine how baffled I'll be when I get it all loaded? LOL
