Hello, Ive started to use ABC to download my torrents but I am experiencing slow download speeds.
The text is green and the firewall (Norton Internet Security 2005) is configured to permit all connection attempts to and from other computers for the torrent client.
I have a pretty high-spec machine aswell as a fast download connection. The torrent im downloading has a decent amount of seeds and also peers, yet still I cannot achieve anything over 12-15KB and even they are in short bursts! Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

OK, first take this test and folow the steps http://www.broadbandreports.com/tweaks
Next, set your Max Upload speed to 18 KB/s.
By connected via a host computer, does that mean you are wirelessely connected to another PC in your house?

Thanks for the reply.
I have set my max upload to 18KB/s as suggested.
I am not connected to the host computer via a wireless connection. It is through a 100Mbps ethernet cable and the broadband is connected diretly to that host computer.
I also tried that test on the above link, but once I click on Results... nothing happens.

Ok, please try the test again though because it is very helpful.
You might have to open ports through the host computer.
