Does anyone know of software which converts Apple Lossless to .WAV? Verve sells old Jazz tracks/LPs in iPod format and if they offer music files in ALE format, I would buy them and convert them to .WAV

Yes iTunes and dBpowerAMP do. And its ALAC not ALE. I was confussed for a sec. I don't think that iTunes sells ALAC files. But I could be wrong. If they did sell them though, you wouldn't be able to convert them to anything because they would be DRM protected MP4 files (.m4p).

Thanks, diabolos, for the info. That's not good news. I found another converter, but it's for C-weenies, which I am not.
