it can burn succesfully at different conditions and not

just stops writing in the middle of progress and nothing to do except of rebooting and trash the media (can safe at miltisesion but not all disks)

made all possible things I suppose (there could be a huge list): even replased the drive at selles service...
- placed the drive as master on secondary IDE and other combinations
- flashed newer firmware
- cleaned windows
- deleted all other burning software and virual drives
- made some tests and so on (burst test at 35-40 it`s ok)
- of course there is UDMA-4 and so on
- trieed to burn with other progs unloaded and not...
- messed with all of that ASPI stuff and more
all seems strange _ half of my media wasted

there is TOSHIBA-1312 was working fine for an year or so on that cable
and they can work together even Pioneer as slave
of course I left it alone for now as master
but didn`t try to replace the cable
there shouldn`t be a problem
drive can brake burning process at any speed (no cable suspecting I suppose)

if burner not hangs ups with Nero and Nero keeps operational it can make Invalid Block Error
(take into account that I replaced the drive with new one at warranty service recently)
