I am building a new comp:

AMD-3700-PRO
MSI K8N NEO4 PLATINUM S-939 NFORCE 4-MOBO
OCZ PC03200 1 GIG-RAM
WESTERN DIGITAL 200 GIG- HD
ATI X850 XT-GFX CARD

My questions:
Wll there be any bottle necking on this syetem?
What kind of power supply should i get?
Is it worth spending extra and getting a good case or a bad case with a good power supply?
How will BF2 run on this baby on 1024 by 768

Sounds like a nice set up you've got planned there, shouldn't be any bottle necks as your graphics card is kinda fast....
Try getting a case with no power supply and investing in a OCZ powerstream or Seasonic S12 .
What rez does your monitor go up to as you could run BF2 & most other games at a higher rez than 1024*768 with that set up

bf2 run nice @ 1280x960 with 6xaa on that setup. maybe more ram though would be good.

im lookin at these two PS's

OCZ (OCZ45012U) ModStream 450 Watt Power Supply Supports ATX/BTX/PCI-E/SATA-102

OCZ (OCZ420ADJ) PowerStream 420 Watt Power Supply, Universal Connector with BTX and SATA, Ultra Quiet-106

now my question is why would a 450W be less than a 420W? Is it just me or is the 450W a better buy, am i missing somthing :S:S:S

you dont provide links, maybe its just 1 store is more expensive than another.
if they are both from the same store maybe one is simply more reliable.

the 420 has "ultra quiet" technology in it, which will add to the price.

if you do a search here, you'll find better nubmers then i can ever give you, but i think a good contrast is about 500:1 (very unsure), good viewing angle is about 200-270 degrees (pretty sure), and good response time is less than 18 ms (milliseconds, pretty darn sure). but, like i said, a search will help you.
