iTunes will convert Mp3 and WMA files on your hard-drive to Mp4 (M4a), the audio format supported by apple for itunes and the iPod, but will also rip CDs to Mp4 or Mp3.

So what type of files are on your harddrive?

johnodd- it doesn't take seconds to convert wma to mp3 on wmp (or windows audio converter is the plugin you're referring to). it takes seconds to do mp3-wma, but vice versa, that's another matter. it took me 13 hours to convert 1390 songs.....

so should i just go with windows media player ? i knew ir would take me forever if i did it on there thats why i was wondering if you guys knew any easier programs to speed up this process.

Nothing. DVD4Free has nothing to do with audio protections. The only you can do is record the songs.

well to my understandings it is supposed to have a 'remove auido cd protection' feature... and it does.

i just didn't know if it worked in this type of example.
