Problem with Taiyo Yuden backup copy

I backed up THE CROSSING GUARD....I used DVDFab Express (latest version), burned at 4x, used Taiyo Yuden DVD+R, 8x disk, bookset to DVD-ROM. The disk works fine on the computer. The disk works fine on my friend's stand alone...... but my stand alone, high priced Sony 5 changer, it skips to next chapters. All my other backup work fine. I only use TYs, Verbatims, Sony, Maxell........ all work fine! Except for this disk..... so I used DVDDecrypter to put back the movie on the HD and it worked on the computer.But when I burned it back to a Sony DVD+RW it would skip on the stand alone! Burned it with CopytoDVD at 4x and still skipping. what am I doing wrong? Both disks work fine in the computer...... but not my stand alone and my whole collection (as you can see in my collection list in my signature) is made up of the same disks, TYs, Verbatims, Sony, and Maxell..... SO I KNOW IT'S NOT THE MEDIA. I burned this movie the same way I did hundreds of backups with the same disks that always work on ALL my dvd players. Why then does this disk NOT work on my stand alone and skips chapters???

sounds like just a freak occurance to me. I'd say try from the original again. Maybe one of your programs is set to automatically update (like Windows or Norton) and was downloading/installing an update while ripping? I don't know, but it just sounds like a bad original rip to me.

I had a problem with Blade Trinity that nobody else had. Every time it would go to the next chapter, I would get a momentary pause almost like the layer break in the original. Weird....

I'll try it again some other time but it plays great in every DVD player I have except the one attached to my big screen! Go figure!
