Hi, I appear to have deleted a file I needed to run WINMX. After realising this I recovered the file from my recycle bin but now when I click to open WINMX an error message appears saying
"WINDOWS\SYSTEM\OLEPRO32.DLL file appears to be corrupt. Reinstall the file, and then try again."

Has anyone else been as daft as me and had this problem before or does anyone know how to fix this?

I do not know how to do this or even if it is possible, does anyone know how I can fix this problem so that WINMX will work properly? Any help would be much appreciated!!!

My system is Windows98SE.

help me please! :-)

For what it's worth, you may aswell download it again. delete all the files you have of winmx (not the downloaded files, though).

here is a link from which you can get win mx again.

http://www.winmx.com/download/

good luck.

yeah i think it has been shut down (that wasn't what was causing my problem though - I managed to delete a file that was crucial to part of my windows setup - ooops!)
someone recommended limewire to me - it's very good.

Win MX was not shut down!!
Its peer caches where pulled so only primary connections can be made to the network. Here's a site that tells how to fix the problem: http://www.vladd44.com/mx/peercaches.php
