I have have about 200 - 300 dvd's on various different types of media....For the most part, they are all DVD-R but lately I wanted to make other copies of my copies (already burned movies).

Will a DVD Duplicator (a 1:2) succesfully duplicate a already ripped (via DVD Shrink) and burned (Via Nero) and play in DVD Players?

Sorry if this is confusing, but just want to make sure you don't think I mean copy a movie that is on an original disc, as I'm very sure it will not do this...

I don't see why it wouldn't, unless the media you used to make the first backup was crap. For instance, I have a DVD-ROM and a DVD±RW drive. I have some backups on Memorex and lately I've been converting them to Taiyo Yuden, I want to do this before the Memorex craps out on me. My ROM drive won't recognize the disc at all, but my burner will. Also my standalone player won't recognize the Memorex. So...I'm guessing that crap media may be a crapshoot (no pun intended), but if you're using good stuff it should be ok.

wait a year and you'll see. Mine all worked fine, but less than a year later, not at all. At least I can still burn them onto good discs.

from what everyone on here says, yes. I haven't been using them that long, so I can't say how long they will last from personal experience, but so far I haven't had a single bad burn yet.
