Hi there,
Please provide us with more information.
What media are you using ? DVD-R, DVD+R ?
What's the MEDIA ID of those disks ?
VSO Inspector v1.1 can provide that to you.
What speed do you burn your disks ?
Here's my theory:
A) You are using DVD+R and your DVD player will only play DVD-R or DVD-ROM.
B) You are using DVD-R and it will only play DVD+R or DVD-ROM
C) You are using poor quality media
D) You are burning them too fast.
Good Luck !

You can not booktype DVD-R media to dvd-rom, only dvd+r/rw media.
Your drive is an oem lite-on SOHW-1673S and is capable of bitsetting/booktyping. You can use the lite-on booktype utility. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=83441 There is also a link to a usage guide on the page.

depending on your dvd burner as well, and maybe it does burn faster than normal. my thing is that all of my copies are compatible with all dvd players out there whether its on my own home or any body else or even every vehicles' dvd player. software might be an issue as well. read thru this forum and you'll see the light of all questions you might have, and i know i did! a little research will help you thru this forum and re check your computer data and burner this might be a clue to your quest for answer!
