Hello, I'm going crazy here.
For months I've been using Ulead DVD Moviefactory SE to import my dvd compatible mpeg2 files encoded with a capture card off cable, TV episodes you know, and it'd just multiplex video/audio into vob files, ready to burn with Nero or whatever, but sometimes it screws up and audio is out of sync on one of the episodes, no matter what I do, redo, etc.
So I started looking for another program, SpruceUp doesn't even accept my files, all the Sonic products like MyDVD and DVDiT take my 2gig file and when imported, it's 2.8gigs, so I can no longer put 2 eps on 4.3gb DVDR, plus it starts reencoding forever, got Roxio's Easy CD/DVD Creator 6, same thing, and it encodes again.
It seems like there is no other program in the world that would just simply put the existing DVD compatible mpeg2 file into vobs ready to burn, without reencoding or messing around with it, enlarging its size, lowering the quality, taking time, freezing up, or not accepting the file at all.
Is there?
I got 20 gigs to burn that Moviefactory out-of-syncs after its done with it even though the original files are fine, and play fine.

Paranoia is reality on a finer scale.

For my experience DVDMaestro works fine, the only thing you have to do is to split your Mpeg2 files into the video and the audio files.
When you have those 2 files you can import them into Maestro and just compile... You'll have a VIDEO_TS folder again with your vobs and ifos ready to burn. Of course if you want to put more than 1 movie into a DVD-R you have to create some navigation with maestro, at least a couple of buttons for playing a movie or the other one...
DVDMaestro doesn't recompile anything, of course. It just parses the video and audio files to check their compliance to the DVD standards.
One warning: every project will be as big as the sum of all the files you put in it PLUS something like 200-300 Mb, so don't try to put more than two 2 Gb movies into 1 DVD-R.
