in most burning applications, like Nero, you can select to turn off the 2 second gap between tracks. If you have a continuous playing CD (where the tracks mix seemlessly together), converting the mp3s to wav will not make a difference. When a CD is converted to mp3, there is a short gap at the end of each mp3, thus making it not able to play seemlessly. And converting the mp3 to wav will still have that short gap at the end.

However if you still want to try, use dBPowerAMP (free) to convert your mp3 to wav. You could also try a free audio editor like Audacity to try and trim the short gap at the end, but it might be tricky. I've tried without much luck.

Stumbled accross this article on Chris Mydens website. It's tells you how to burn MP3's to CD without gaps. I haven't done this myself so I can't say whether it does the job or not. Here's the link. http://www.chrismyden.com/040207.php

P.s. To anyone that tries let me know if it works or not.

Technically, it wasn't Chris it was "Phreak144" that figured it out. I don't know what all of this is about since I've never had a problem with 2 gaps between tracks on Audio-CDs made from Mp3s.

Mabye it just me,

so Ced you're saying that when you have a continuously playing mp3 album and you burn it with something like Nero, that there aren't very short gaps in between? Because everyone I've done has resulted in very short gaps due to a short silence at the end of every mp3 track.

But anyways, it is pretty cool to know that there is a program that can do this. Its nice cause now I don't have to worry about keeping continuous albums in one single file to maintain its continuity.

Yes. I can't say so for Nero. I used iTunes, Easy CD creator, and WinMedia9 (back in the day). Also Jet audio.

Are yall splitting the CD into tracks?
