I just moved into my college dorm (University of Washington) and am connected via the university network. Obviously I can't configure the router to open the necessary ports to get solid connections with bittorrents like I could at home. I am wondering if there is another method to get better connections, perhaps through a proxy, other software, or anything else? Any ideas would be great! Thanks.
