I have a interesting problem where if I do not use the Internet on my computer for a period of time (4 hrs or more), I loose my ability to bring up the Internet, and have to reboot.
I have found a workaround for this problem by launching Mozilla and bringing up 2 seperate websites and leaving them up overnight. If I only bring up one website, the next morning I can access that one website but that's the only website I have access to.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem? I've tried contacting Road Runner tech support but they say it's a Windows XP issue.

Had this NIC over 5 years and it never has given me a problem. It works fine after rebooting the machine, too. If I leave 2 or more websites open in Mozilla, I dont drop the Internet connection.
Alot of ISP's have a time limit on your usage, for example i am with optus, and have a 5hour time limit after which it will drop out, this is to be fair to all users so all the bandwidth isn't tied up, i know it sucks, but thats the way it goes, sorry bud, Ariel, Take Care.
