im new to this stuff and i was using BitComet at home flawlessly and loving it. now im at college and they made me download and login to Clean Access Agent and i believe it blocks all p2p progams and bittorrents but some kids have found ways to get thru it somehow but i cant figure it out, do you know any programs that i can use to tunnel thru or get it to work? i would really appreciate any help on this.
You should ask those kids, because otherwise, the schools firewall will block the bandwith, sometimes here at my college, ill be connected to 170 seeds, on the T1 line they have here (2.2 MB/s) and still only get 75 Kb/s.
i dont know who those kids are i just know people get thru cause they are sharing on the network, i dont even care if the bandwith is limmited thats not the problem, the problem is it wont even connect here, i dont know how to tunnel thru
Having the same problem here, though I am getting no ul/dl speeds on my uni network. Funny enough the IT people at the uni said I should try a tunnel program. That's all they said, very cloak and dagger. Anyone have any tips on what kind of tunnel program we should be using here??
