Ive gotten into the hole torrents thing this holidays but unless the file is around 500mb (tv show torrent) then im finding it takes far far to long. i have been d'ling a pc game which is 1.5gig and its taken ages purely becuz torrents can not run my internet speed flat out this torrent is ranging speeds between 5kb and 15kb and from wat ive downloaded so far there not bad speeds as i have never had ne thing go over 20kb or stay conistantly at 20kb. Its jus bugging me i can download a 650mb demo in 6 hours (adsl 256k/64k my net) and yet its taken me 3 days so far to get this torrent at 80%. I was just wondering if really this is the only way to d'l games and movies. ive heard pplz talk about sharing buddies where theres a group off pplz that jus share to each other but other than that ive heard nothing else as ares does not have games. And do pplz out there who d'l these games actually get fast speeds and not have to wait a few days or is paitence just the key to it

I have read ur guide and is very impressive, i am only on a adsl connection of 256kb/64kb so i dont expect speeds of 150kb but to get speeds of 25kb to 30kb would be good enough for me and thats practically flat out on my net. Im using BitTorrent atm and i got told i was good but after reading ur guide im going to give BitLord ago. ive got one question tho when u talk about port frowarding u always explain how to do it for someone using a router im not using a router i have a enthernet cable from the modem straight to my pc. i think to port forward for that u go into my network places then properties to network connection then left click on the interent connection and go properties. from there go advanced where is says windows firewall go settings. next go to exceptions there and go add port. is wat ive said the right way to forward ports if im not using a router? 1 more question i read the rules for bitsoup and it says only upload to there community how do u only upload to them and not everyone and it will be hard to keep a good ratio with the slowness of my upload
