I have the AVI2DVD beta and can convert each individual AVI into IFO format, but if i try and add them to the burn queue, nero complains that they are all named the same. Then, if i try and rename them they are no longer associated with their respective mpeg.

What am i doing wrong here? do i need to find a way to burn all the AVI's to a single IFO or find a way to rename the IFO's and burn each IFO onto the disc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can you use a 'data' disk?
i have done the majority of mine by way of 'data' now and it works great. no encoding at all, but you need a stand alone dvd player that supports 'data'
just a tip for you !

Good idea, i'll try that.

i'll bet .mpeg4 would be a better format for the files than .AVI aswell.

I have a stand alone that supports 'data' but do you know if Playstation 2 does?

i dont think play station does it. i dont mess around in that area. but if your dvd player can play an .AVI file, it will surely play mpeg4 then, as well as DivX, XviD, the list goes on. my dvd player does it all, and i am quite impressed with it so far. i bought the LG LDA-511 with hdmi upconversion.

hi

avi2dvd app

load the avi files like this (rename):

Matrix CD1.avi
Matrix CD2.avi
Matrix CD3.avi
Matrix CD4.avi

load first of set in

or with the folders you already have use dvd shrink on re-author mode! load all 4 folders in and hit backup!

or load all 4 folders to tmpgenc dvd author and make a menu to link each folder / film

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
