I have a packard bell c3300 and when unplugged from the mains the battery only lasts about 45 mins is this normal for a lap top battery, can you buy better batteries for lap tops if so are they all compatible, what are the best options and how much are we talking for a good one.

hello laptops bat´s last depending on cpu type AMD cpus tend to eat battery really fast 1hour or less,on the other hand intel-moblie cpus and intel centrino platform are less battery eaters lasting 2-4 even 6 hours depending on cpu type.

and yes there regular batterys and hi-perform and lasting batterys so check with manufacturer for hi-power bat for compatibility issues too the can cost from 40-60 us$ i guess but is just a guess.
