I have helped many people in this forum before but now i have a question to ask. Is it legal to download tvrips such as Lost, Family Guy, Simpsons, etc...?

I mean, they are broadcast on FREE tv stations, and you can record them using capture cards/external video players, etc which is perfectly legal.
