okay, i just downloaded ultimate spiderman, okay what is all the steps you have to do to get this game working on my ps2?? i have a modchip so no worries.. this is the 1st time doing this so i am a SUPER noob who needs some help... thanks.

if you downloaed the game of the net then more then likly you will get a folder with a bunch of RAR files in it. You need to have WinRAR installed on your computer. After it is installed you need to choose the first WinRAR file if you have files like: .001, .002, .003 etc etc you need to choose the .001 file and extract the ISO or whatever file it is they zipped up and it will extract the rest of the rar files and form 1 big image file which you then just burn as an image to disc.

how do you burn as a image, i use record now but i also have dvd decrpytor but i dont know how to write files with that, and how file wise how big does the dvd have to be? is 4.7 gb okay for normal games?

get yourself Alcohol 120% to burn your images, i use it for all mine and its great, i always burn at 4x but rour best off finding wots right for you.
p.s you can get Alcohol 120% here from afterdawn just goto software

Did the downloaded file come in rar files?
If so then unpack the file and see what it gives you. It should give you an ISO image.
To burn an Image file with DVD Decrypter:
Open Decrypter
Choose "MODE" at the top then go down to "ISO" then click on "WRITE"
SOURCE: Please select file: (choose the image file that was extracted)
Make sure you have a blank DVD in the burrner and then burn @ 4x or slower

most people use 4.7gig dvds they are the standard size you can get dvd+ and dvd-. i use the dvd- you dont really need dual layer discs unless you plan on backin up god of war or sumthin, as sum modchips play dual layer backups,

im using cog swap loader , n i cant seem to get downloaded or rebuilt games to work , if i create and image and then brn the image wit DVD Decrypter it works fine , but when i edit it with UltraISO it doesnt run
wasnt i banned?

have you tryed ISO Buster instead of Ultra ISO?
Also, when you rebuild the game are you making sure you
are dropping the files into the burning program in the same order
as they were in UltraISO?
Other than that there should not be much of a difference between
a game that you just burned strait up, and one you rebuilt.
something is going wrong in your rebuilding process.

Nero is SOOOOOOOO much easier.

Remember you need HIGH QUALITY media DVDs for your PS2 to read.
Eg. Verbatim, TDK, Ritek, Tuiyo Yuden etc.

Can someone help me? I Dl'd the files for Tiger 2006. Used WinRAR to unzip it. Created the ISO image file. And I've burnt it using Alcohol 120.
Yet when I put it in, the PS2 doesn't recognize the disc. Do I have to mod the ps2? IS there a step I'm missing?
Should I burn at lower speed? I've never had trouble burning other torrents to DVD. This is my first time trying a ps2 game.
Thanks for any and all help and pointers.

you must have your ps2 modded to play any burnt games, either witha mod chip or the flip lid method, either one works great.

Agrees with fshbrn need the PS2 modded using Modchip or swap magic and slide tool or fliptop

Yes I use torrents but cant give you links to them it is agaisnt the rules to link to pirated stuff.

actualy its not illegal if u own the game and u hav lost/misplaced then its legal to download , but if u dont own the game then its illegal , but i too think its a bit stupid that u cant give out emails/direct links , but it isnt stupid to not give out links on how to get stuff that cost money for free , if u give out ur email then its ur problem ur gonna get Penis enlargment kits and blow up sex dolls lol.

-extract the 001 rar file, but how bout all the other ones??

We dont make the rules we just follow them.
And yes all you gotta do is choose the first rar file and unzip that 1 the rest will automaticly unzip making the ISO or whatever file they zipped up. The reason they are zipped in alot of RAR files is to make it eiasier to download instead of downloading the whole file your downloading partieal files of the whole file. you might get rar .001 from 1 person but are getting RAR file .004 from another person.

Most of them files are information files telling you what is in the torrent. How to unzip the torrent. Some have a URL to the site the torrent is hosted at. Which you might have to go to and subscribe to the site to get a password for it to open the RAR files or to download the torrent itself. I have never tried a DVD-RW on my PS2 so i dont know if it will work. I always use DVD-R or DVD+R Never tried using a rewritable
