okay i am using dvd decryptor but its not letting me burn, it says device not ready!!!! how do i use alcohol?

it keeps on saying there is no disc inserted in alcohol as well!!!

What model number DVD burrner do you have? Not just the brand. the brand and model number.
Make sure it is compatible with DVD-R disc. That might be the reason it isnt finding the DVD-R disc. Your burrner might only take DVD+R disc.

Hey guy's, i need some help... :/ I'm making a backup for my ps2, and i downloaded the WinRAR by DVD Decrypter and this is what i have so far.

i burned the whole .rar file, it reads as a .iso in the decrypter, so i just burned the whole thing. And well, needless to say it did not work. Anyone wanna tell me what i'm doing wrong?

NO MEMOREX IS NOT A GOOD MEDIA BRAND!
It is pretty crap and as previously stated, has about 25% chance of working.
I suggest -Taiyoko Luken (Can't spell.. google it) TDK, Ritek, Verbatim, etc.

proballer: anything marked "made in japan" will most likely work.

Back up's are for a friend with a moded ps2. But I don't have one. And no, i dident extract the .rar, because it said .iso when i put it in the decrypter.

xanza: no matter what, it won't work on your ps2 if you don't have Swap Magic or some kind of mod. but you extract the first rar file, and that should start the entire extraction, leaving you with a whole iso file, ready to burn and play.
proballer: verbatim is very trustworthy; just be sure that when you buy them, they are stamped "made in japan," as fakes are often sold.

I use Imation myself and have had no trouble with them. Dosent mean you will have the same luck. All you can do is try.

i didnt buy 2 different dvds lol, i returned one then bought another one with the credit i had after i returned the 1st dvds i bought lol.
and yeah i just tryed it and all my games work on imation!!! woot!

go to tha link somewhere on that paga some dude explains how to make this ps2 game work, i dont know how to use nero very well and he explains how to do it though nero, is there anyway you can use alcohol or dvd decrptor instead of nero? if yes please explain in detail.. thanks!
