i have 2x512 ddr400 pc3200 dual channel and when i run battlefield2 and games and that memory drops big time down to 220 mb ram whats the problem and when i exit it it gose back to 800 to 600 to 700 could it be a memory leak please help

i run 1 stick of pc3200 512 mb ram, and when i play bf2 it goes above 512, something in the 600'smb of ram, i suppose that bf2 takes up a lot of ram and that is y 1.5gb of ram is requested for it, that is y im trying to get 1 more gb of ram for my computer, hope this helps
