Hi, I've recently downloaded a torrent of Star Wars 3 supposedly DVD quality. However, my luck had once failed me when similar files of another torrent were unsuccessful at burning a readable disc. Here is a list of the Star Wars 3 files:

VIDEO_TS.BUP BUP File
VIDEO_TS.IFO Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_0.BUP BUP File
VTS_01_0.IFO Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_0.VOB Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_1.VOB Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_2.VOB Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_3.VOB Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_4.VOB Nero Showtime File
VTS_01_5.VOB Nero Showtime File

I don't know what to do with these files when burning them to a DVD disc. I think I'm supposed to make it into a DVD image, but I'm not sure. Will someone please help and maybe even give me a step-by-step guide for Nero.

Open up Nero Start Smart.
Select Burn DVD-Files
Drag the files to the left side of the screen.
Burn at 4x.

Enjoy!

Works perfect! I guess (from the simplicity of it) that these files are pretty common for DVDs. I always thought most were ISO files.

Thanks again.

Sarko,

Do you have the most updated Nero 6 (v6.6.0.16) or Nero 7?

Yeah i have 6.6.0.16. Just realised i tried to burn it wrong anyway. Got it to work now. On a side note, i have burned two dvds now, and when i play them back, the quality doesn't look much better than an AVI file, even though they should be proper dvd quality. Just wondered what i might be doing wrong. I'm burning at 4x speed in Nero with verbatim DVD-Rs (which are certified to 8x).

Have you downlaoded these video_ts files or are you getting them from Shrink, or are you converting them from .AVI?
