as you can tell im new here.

i need to know how to place protection on my dvds, particularly the cylic redundancy error method.

any help and knowledge in copy protection is welcome.

appreciate it if someone could help me

nope im not living in bizzaro world because i bought a copied dvd and the person had put the cyclic redundancy error method of copy protection on there. I couldnt copy it and needed to do some extra long method to do so. I assume hes a normal dvd maker like the rest us................

so if its something you dont know how to do yet, its obvious someone else does.

so enough with the digs , can someone help me

Seriously, it's probably just a crappy disc and that's why you are getting errors.

^^ok thank you. i had considered that , but i was wondering whether there was possibly more to it. I read a post on this forum earlier today about the big companys intentionally putting errors on the discs and i put 2 n 2 together and thought this is what he might have done.

obviously not, ooooh the shame.

What brand of Disc is it? what is it coded?

My money is on a crappy brand dvd and if you use a dvd id proggy you will see for sure.
