I am have a problem when burining to DVD+R using Nero or ImgTool.

The process works, but is extremely slow. It is taking around 8 hours to burn a DVD! I had to re-install my system, but before re-install, a DVD would burn in 40 minutes.

Anyone got any ideas? Using:

Nero 5.5.10.7b
Freecom External DVD+R (NEC ND 1000A in disguise)
