I have been using limewire recently. Is this a good p2p application?

What is probably the best right now?

yeah it is undoubtedely the best p2p app left on the map. it has a growing number of 2million users, it has the most users of any p2p, clean interface, spyware free adware free etc etc.

i say get in quick before the R*** come along and grind it to a halt like winmx

I have read in the past that LimeWire has spyware/adware as opposed to Limewire Pro. Has anyone else heard that before?

Does it have a lot of trance music and special mixes by unknown DJs? Also, do you have to upload anything with Limewire? Sorry kinda new to all this. Thanks.

I have only just started using limewire but I find that it is very good for music. I usually use emule to download everything else, because I find it has more than most other p2p.

Sorry for the newbie question. But I just downloaded this and have a few questions. Any help would be appreceiated. Thanks.

1. How do I know what I will be sharing. I don't want to share anything as much as possible?...sorry.

2. How can I tell if it is copyrighted? I'm just interested in trance special mixes by unknown djs. I don't want to dl any copyrighted material but a lot of the artists I am not familiar with.

Thanks again.

Bad news,
Limewire is no longer supporting Copyrighted Goodies so in the next few weeks your going to see less and less people conected.
Every song you download is copyrighted! Sorry

It has taken a long time to discover the many different ways to burn, scan, ripp, download, cut, paste and protect.

What do you mean? That is what keeps P2P alive, sharing. How do you get things like music? software? etc? It's all about sharing? I share, you share, we all share --- PERIOD. Do you just want something for nothing? Now what would Mister Rogers say? tsk tsk lol

And how do you know if its copyrighted? Well, if you are so worried about that, then MAYBE you shouldn't be on a P2P site like Limewire because there is a chance that it might be lol.

Sorry if I sound crass, but I just don't get people sometimes <sigh>

If you want to stop any program from loading at the xp startup the do this.

Start>run>msconfig>choose the startup tab> simply uncheck the box you want in this case limewire.

this will definalty work.

"Every song you download is copyrighted! Sorry"
