greetings people. After intensively research boosting BT dl speeds, this was what i did:
Im running on a toshiba centrino 1.6, which comes with a SP2. Belkin wireless router. Cable connection download speeds of up to 2Mbps (2,000Kbps) and upload speeds of up to 256Kbps (at least thats what my ISP says...) U can take a speed test anywaz.
Later, I forwarded my port too. This is a good site. very step-by-step for different brands of router. Got a static IP too.

And so later, I went to check if my port is open.

and indeed it is.
Since some say Sp2 limits your connection to just 10, i had installed something, i forgot what, to change it to 50. (those who wants can post their email in the replys.)
I believed I did all I could find these 3 days. And all apparently went well.
SO many people complained of speeds stuck at 20-40 kB/s. And yes, after hearing so much about constant 100 kB/s, everybody wants to reached that too. But very often, and perhaps some due to their IT technical knowledge, they can only cry help andt do not post enough data for the experts to chip in an advice or two.
But after doing all these, I give u a senerio as im typing. Im downloading smallville S5-02 now. been running for 1hr, connected with 49 seeds, peers connected 68.
Guess my download speed?
Its freaking not cross even 5!!!
so for all those who have 20 - 40, its heaven for u! and for those have even better ones, i give u my blessings if u can give me some valuable advice!!!
