They both look good and have ups and downs...but the X700 is cheaper. Which card do you think I should is better. I want to play games like Battlefield 2 and FarCry. Thanks!

6600GT all the way, the X700 was introduced to compete with the 6600GT but couldn't cut it so thats why ATi brought out the X800GT which is slightly faster than a 6600GT....
you'll be able to play the games you mentioned really well on a 6600GT ;)

X700 would be a poor alternative.

Hey what about the GeForce 6800 non-ultra. It has +8Gb/s memory bandwidth, is 256-bit, and has 12 pixel pipelines...but has slower clock speeds than the 6600GT. 6800 is better right?

But the 6800 is DDR...while the 6600GT is GDDR3.

With 12 pipes the vanilla 6800 is always going to be better + in AGP format theres the possability of soft moding it to near 6800GT spec (16 pipes + all vertex shaders) but this ain't always guaranteed , they don't softmod in PCI-E format from what i've read & heard .... so if the 6800 is not much more then i would consider it ;)
