You don't need ram you need a hard drive if you want more space.

We need more info. How much ram and what kind are you running now? What size hard drive do you now have and what motherboard does your system have. If nothing else what system do you have Dell, HP or whatever and the model number?

Government big enough to supply everything you need is powerful enough to take everything you have.

Yes ram allows you to run more programs at once, makes games load up a bit faster and improves the general speed of the computer. It does not give you any more space to store anything.

For that you would need to be looking at a hard drive. These are measured in gigabytes (or megabytes if they are reeeealy old) and you probably want to be looking at 40 - 80 gigabytes for a reasonable but cheap solution to your lack of space. They also come in various speeds, the faster they are the more you pay ofcourse and also come in different types such as sata or ide, of which you will need to make sure the one you buy is compatible with the connections on your pc's motherboard, older computers generally use ide and newer will support both sata and ide connections.
