First movie I ever tried to copy I was cluless. Just ripped thr vob's and deleted the rest. Now I would like to create all the required files I.E. VOB_TS, IFO., BUP., and such to make this movie work. I nolonger have access to the original (Don't even remember the title) any more. Can it be done? Appreciate the help.

If all you have are the .VOB files then you can create a new set of .BUP and .IFO files for them with VOBEdit and IFOEdit. Here's a guide:

I have IFOEdit but I recently found out it wont work on XP. Any other suggestions?

If all you want is the movie I'd still give VobEdit/IfoEdit a try. Some people have had problems running it on WinXP but many others have gotten it to work with no problems. I personally had problems with it on the first computer I ran it on with XP, and had to use Win2000 to run it. OTOH I got a different computer that only had WinXP on it and haven't had any problems running it on that PC. If you can't use IfoEdit you could use the 30 day trial of DVD-Lab Pro to author a new disc with the movie VOBs.

Keep in mind that if you want the original structure of the DVD (ie original menu functionality) you won't get it without either having the original IFOs or doing a lot of complex IFO creation/editing.

Ok that sounds good. IFOEdit just dosen't agree with my computer. I'll have to try dvd lab. Thanks.
