AnyDVD is a driver that just breaks encyption on DVD's. It does not burn, it just sits in your tray and when you put in your encrypted DVD Movie it will break this encryption and you will be able to back it up using your favorite programs.

I use CloneDVD2 & AnyDVD almost exclusively, and I only copy the main title. I use the guide prepared by bbmayo and it is a matter of clicking about 3 times and everything works just fine. I have other proggys, but prefer these two -- guess I'm a little bit lazy.

The program is well worth the money and the question will not be answered here nor appreciated. Buy it you will like it.

With AnyDVD in the background, Nero Recode or DVD Shrink will be able to rip/compress most if not all DVD movies, regardless of type of copy protection. If there is is other program more worthy of a $29.95 expenditure, I'd like to know. Free is good but sometimes the merchandise is actually worth the money, as is the case for AnyDVD.

I TOTALLY agree!AnyDVD is THE BEST money I ever spent for what it does, it's unbeatable in My Opinion. I also bought CloneDVD 2, I have Nero Ultra with Recode, and sometimes a certain Movie will lock Nero up, then I use CloneDVD 2 with 100% success!

duh norr i thought you read my thread or do you forget quickly lol
the programs and guides are ALL THERE , follow the guide step by step
better software
CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD (which i use) AnyDVD updates for life and WILL do ALL the newer movies

remember to use good blank media as in Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4x max
and norr just pay for the program its only 59 bucks

After reading the threads, I would have been hard pushed to help. Then again I can be incredibly impatient & arrogant at times!
Some of you guys have the patience of saints.
I spent a month away from here as there were that many jackasses making pointless threads & posts. It still goes on, I cannot believe some of the threads that people are starting! Now I try my best to avoid conflict, it is difficult at times as it goes against the grain.
I am 40 in November, I guess that I am mellowing out with age!

I hit 40 about 10 years back and believe me it just gets mellower from 40 on. Now I just chuckle at it all. Happy early Bday, mine is in November too. :)
